Voyage into Victorian Space in Sunless Skies

Sunless Skies is a game that takes place in a dreadful world inspired by the classic weird fiction of the Victorian and Edwardian eras. Enter a land that goes beyond steampunk as you explore a British Empire that has grown to spend the heavens, as explorers head out into space. But be warned: many weird dangers exist out there...

Explore the British Empire as You Have Never Imagined It

Sunless Skies takes place in an alternate history that mixes fantasy with science fiction. At the start of the twentieth century, the British Empire has expanded into space, Queen Victoria having led missions to chart and colonise the heavens. In this world, stars are intelligent beings called Judgements, and one by one they are dying. This is the perfect opportunity for the Empire to claim the areas of pace that these vast intelligences are leaving behind. But how long can this last? How long will it be before the Empire faces a backlash...?

Chart the Heavens as an Imperial Captain

In Sunless Skies, you will take control of a spaceship captain and voyage into space, no matter how many hazards await you up there. As you prepare to send our ship on its latest mission, you must ensure that it is well-equipped with weapons nad stocked with enough resources to last you the trip. Hand-pick a crew of your own, and decide which side you will fight on in the next conflict.
